A lot of changes have been done to my oldest two daughters shared bedroom. For starters I asked if they wanted their own bedrooms. Nope! They want to still share one.
We decided to go with laminate flooring that I installed with help from my three girls. I can say liley helped because her giggles and smiles are motivation when she’s scooting around in her walker. 🙂
It took a few days to do! I had to plan time around her still scheduled feedings and and shorter naps. Nevertheless I was extremely proud of myself that I completed it and used one of my husbands electric saws by myself for all cuts. It was his smallest one! The rest he refuses to show me how to use!
The paint colors didn’t change. My girls still love the pink they picked out last time we did their room.
It was definitely time to upgrade from the beds they had. We came close to just getting bunk beds that my husband mentioned. However…. There are so many cute alternatives out there that it was worth figuring out.
After a few internet searches, a lot of measuring the room, and input from my girls we settled on a junior loft with slide for Abby and a loft for Olivia.
Abigail went with a monster high theme (instead of her old my little pony one) and Olivia went with hello kitty again.
I’m currently crocheting some extra throw pillows for them. 🙂
