A bubbler &MsBiz asked a question in one of her articles about favorite bible verses. Of course in answering it did leave me to think a little bit more about my favorite verse. I have a few of them so its kind of hard to really pick just a single one.
However, this one passage I think is a great way to live life regardless if someone reads the bible or even considers them self a christian. The Galatians 5:22-23 verse says,
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
When I read it, I see it as all qualities I wish to have, to experience, and to share. There is so much out there in the world which can really bring out a negative feeling or vibe. So much to wonder about what is “wrong”, that people forget to think about and appreciate the “good” and the “right”.
But life is to short to live it spending it thinking about yesterdays or tomorrows troubles and not thinking about today. Because tomorrow isn’t something everyone sees. But everyone has a today.
So in my today’s, I like to enjoy what I am doing. To feel comfortable because I am living and trying to live in a way that can add value to those around me. Sure there are a lot of struggles and challenges, but for those I still have faith to help guide me.
